Rinova Admin Dashboard — Playwright-Reviewed Fix

Outcome

The Rinova admin dashboard was reviewed with Playwright screenshots before the second design pass, refined against the supplied mobile reference, re-screenshoted at mobile and desktop sizes, and published through the existing Cloudflare Worker workflow.

The final release keeps the current authentication, Worker APIs, D1 data, dashboard routes, and staff workflows intact. It focuses on the visible experience: a clearer full-color pink/plum theme, a more orderly mobile navigation drawer, and a chatbot that no longer exposes the stray visible “A” label beside the input.

Color system Warm white and pale blush surfaces now use saturated baby pink for actions and highlights, deep plum for navigation and user messages, rose borders, and a green private/online state. The dashboard has a fuller women’s beauty-commerce color identity while preserving readable contrast.
Chat input The screen-reader label is clipped correctly, the input and send control share one responsive row, and the send button has an explicit accessible label. The circled “A”/blank artifact is removed; the input reads as one deliberate control.
Chat response Assistant/user bubbles remain distinct, Bangla wraps safely, and **bold**, inline code, and line breaks render cleanly. Long assistant replies no longer look like raw Markdown or one unstructured block.
Accessibility Visible focus, keyboard Escape handling, drawer backdrop behavior, aria-expanded, role=log, live status messaging, and reduced-motion support are included. The most important dashboard and chat interactions are easier to understand and operate.

Playwright evidence

Before the second design pass, Playwright captured authenticated baseline screenshots at 390×844 and 1280×900 after the user’s supplied credentials were used only for inspection. The baseline accessibility snapshot showed the mobile drawer’s previous three-column geometry and the assistant’s remaining input-label problem.

After the design pass, Playwright captured the edited assistant at 390×844, the open mobile navigation drawer at 390×844, and the edited assistant at 1280×900. The final target snapshot confirmed a 267px input beside a 46px send button on mobile, a 322px conversation log, and a 320px single-column drawer. The final local Playwright console check returned zero errors and zero warnings.

The production page was then reopened in Playwright after deployment and verified at the mobile viewport. The final screenshots were captured as production-admin-assistant-mobile-final.png and the local review artifacts are documented in admin-dashboard-playwright-baseline.md and admin-dashboard-playwright-review.md.

Build and release verification

node --check web/admin/app.js passed. pnpm build passed, including the storefront build and Worker TypeScript check. The final release is commit `8ca0db3`, and the production workflow completed successfully at run 33023307772.

The live dashboard is available at `/admin/?view=assistant`. No admin credential was written to source code, research notes, or commits.

Research basis

The review followed dashboard guidance to surface actionable information first and reveal deeper detail through interaction rather than crowding the initial view 1. It also followed W3C guidance for keyboard access, visible focus, reflow, status messaging, and target sizing 2. W3C chatbot research specifically informed the visible heading, explicit labelling, predictable focus, and separate assistant/user message treatment 3.
