SmartGen Barcode Service is presented as a $10 lifetime service.
The current product focus is the reliable first-party browser tool: local barcode validation, local SVG generation, and the client-admin product-form integration. Checkout, PayPal, local payment collection, automatic activation, and online license verification are intentionally not enabled yet.

Why payment is deferred
The tool must remain stable before a payment workflow is introduced. Separating barcode generation from payment collection avoids making the client’s product workflow dependent on a payment provider or a new SmartGen product-data service.
When SmartGen is ready to activate payments, the payment design should preserve the existing privacy boundary: client product data remains with the client, and only the minimum information necessary for payment or license management is handled by the future SmartGen-owned payment system.
